WD Sentinel DX4000 with NAS OS Installed

I picked this Sentinel NAS up a while ago, the original OS running on it was Windows Server 2008R2 Essentials, with no way to upgrade from there I decided to look for a way to repurpose it. I found I could install a NAS OS on a USB drive or an internal drive on another computer, tweak the EFI boot partition a little then put it into this guy and it would boot up.

Currently running the most recent version of Open Media Vault, there would be 3 bays available to fill up which is what you'd need for a RAID5 set. I recently downsized from 5 NAS boxes in my house to a single NAS so I no longer have a need for this, worked great for me.

Open Media Vault has been reset to the factory default configuration including the password. The NAS is also setup for DHCP, since the front LCD doesn't display anything you'll have to find the NAS on your own.

It'll show as openmediavault so you may be able to access it by the name. This item is in the category "Computers/Tablets & Networking\Drives, Storage & Blank Media\Hard Drives (HDD, SSD & NAS)\Network Attached Storage". The seller is "sprengerz" and is located in this country: US.
