This is ONE PART / SINGLE FOCUS LOMO ANAMORPHIC. Lens Arri PL mount / new casing parts were done by Dima Turaev. He also did complex tests to make sure, this lens will work well.

Price for this job was around 2.5K USD and around 3 months of waiting. Standard 0.8 pitch 360 degrees follow focus rings. On focus and aperture rings. Only , as most vintage Russian lenses This is 35mm camera format lens for sure, but we do not know if it covers 4K, 5K or 6K digital format without any problems. Informations about coverage can be found in internet for sure. There's NO deep scratches, deep'cleaning marks. Cracks or any other damages.

There's NO fungus, haze, fog, separations or any other damaged inside optical construction. Lens has some MICRO'cleaning marks' on outside and inside glasses coatings, but nothing t worry about; there are few MICRO marks/spots on glasses coatings, what is normal in vintage Russian lenses. MICRO piceces of dust inside optical construction, what is normal even in newer lenses; in general, all those'issues' are nothing to worry about, as they won't be visible on movie material; lens was checked on lens projector and it shows good optical performance and gives flat image. As for such old Lomo Anamorphic lens (most lenses on the market are very stiff).

Focus ring checked with manual and electronic follow focus units and it works good with both units well; there are NO problems with focusing at the moment. Aperture ring works smooth, but a bit unregular in some places; aperture stops to the end without any problems; aperture blades. With NO grease on them. There are just some LIGHT signs of use on lens casing, as can be seen on real pictures below.

Item description; remember that this lens is from 1966 Year; lens. Has some scratches and some paint missings on it, mostly on anamorphic attachment part. Lens scales are in excellent shape (very visible); there are NO seriuos damages on lens casing, just few MICRO dents/cracks on it, but nothing to worry about. We think this lens is in EXCELLENT+ (70% to 75%) overall condition, but this is just our opinion. Remember that all evaluations are always subjective. Just don't forget, Lomo lenses are old Russian lenses, so they never won't look like new or work like new. We always try to do the best we can, to make then useable as they can be. The most important is, that. Chrosziel lens projector shows very good flat images with this lens at the moment. We do not check lenses with camera, as every camera sensor is different, but we always check them on collimator and lens projector to be sure they are in good workig order.
