LOMO ANAMORPHIC 40mm T3.4 Model: NAS5-2' L' / LIENKINAP with ARRI PL mount. This is probably experimental / prototype lens from LIENKINAP, which was one of Lomo factories. Lens was made in 1960 Year and probably it is one of the kind. This is one of first Lomo Anamorphic lenses ever made. Lens comses with: front genuine Lomo cap; rear Arri PL plasic cap; 2x follow focus aluminium gears. There's NO deep scratches, deep'cleaning marks', cracks or any other serious damages on glasses; there's NO fungus, fog, separations, haze or any other serious damages inside optical construction; this is probably uncoated version of the lens (anamorphic glasses / spherical rear glass with coatings); lens some of MICRO'cleaning marks' on internal and external glasses, but it is probably nothing to worry about, as they are faint ones, not deep ones; lens. Has some MICRO marks/spots on glasses for sure, but this is really nothing to worry about, as many of vintage Russian lenses has them; lens has some matt marks/spots on front of second anamorphic glass or rear of first anamorhpic glass, as it is hard to say now where they are; we do not think it is an issue here, as most very old lenses has similar issues and still projects fine; lens has some MICRO pieces of dust inside, but this is not an issue here; lens was checked on lens projector and it gives, good proper flat image; lens projector shows good sharpness wide open, so it is more than good in this case; we think it is still in excellent- optical condition as for such old rare lens. Focus ring works quite smooth, as for Lomo Anamorphic lens (most of those lenses are very stiff and need professional service before use); we've checked it with manual Chrosziel Follow Focus and it works fine; we think it is also good for electronic follow focus units, but we can't guarantee it, as we didn't test it; lens has backlash / play on focus ring, somewhere on 2m to 3m on the scale, noticeable when focusing, so it need service; aperture ring works smooth, quite good; focus and aperture rings sounds a bit gritty when they are is in use, but it is nothing to worry about and it is not even mechanical issue; aperture stops up to f/16 without any problems; there is some grease on aperture blades, but it is even better for Lomo lenses, as dry blades can be stucked during the work; lens has Arri PL mount and it should work with all Arri PL mounted cameras on the market; this is quite heavy lens, so it will need some kind of support during work for sure; we think lens is still in excellent- working condition for it's age. Lens has just LIGHT signs of use on it's casing, as can be seen on REAL pictures under item description; please, do not forget, this lens is 60 Years old, so it has to have some signs of use on it's casing; lens has few light scratches and some paint missings onit's casing for sure. In general, there are NO serious damages on it's body, but it can have some really MICRO dents and cracks on it, as it is quite old lens; we think this lens is still in excellent visual condition for it's age.

We think this lens is in really EXCELLENT- (70% to 75%) overall condition, but this is just our opinion. Remember that all evaluations are always subjective. Glasses with some issues (marks / cleaning marks / spots), but it shouldn't be much issue, as it projects good.

The most important is that. Chrosziel lens projector shows good flat image with it at the moment. We do not check lenses with camera, but we always check them on collimator and lens projector. Our RATINGS in items description are.
